One of the fun surprises from the Thanksgiving holiday was getting to see friends. We had awesome weather all week so the girls played outside a lot & we spent more time with neighbors than we have in a long time! We also had friends in town so we met up with a few of them for a movie matinee to see the Grinch:
They had fun stretching out on the recliners & we spoiled them with lunch:
They even took a picture of us!
We all loved the movie & it's amazing how much more fun it is when you are with your friends:
Then we ended the week with a girl's night out:
Lena's birthday is in early December but we decided to celebrate early. We drove into Dallas for dinner:
and then we went to Highland Park to look at Christmas lights! We had so much fun driving around looking at lights but most of all, we enjoyed the extra conversation. Last stop, Vitruvian Park in Addison. I have wanted to go here for a while & cannot wait to take the girls back. They would love all of the colorful trees:
It was so windy outside, which made it really cold & it was a Sunday night, so we were one of the few crazies out there. We finally found someone to take a picture of us in front of the big tree & she cracked me up because you would have thought she was a real photographer because she was taking all kinds of pictures of us:
It was such a fun night & I am truly thankful for these wonderful ladies!
