Valentine's Day was on Wednesday this year, but since Sophie goes to school on Tuesday/Thursday, they had her party the day before:
They made a cute craft & then decorated their own Valentine sugar cookie:
We had fun celebrating with her & her friends:
They actually got 2 cookies to decorate but Sophie is so giving that she only wanted to make 1 because she wanted to save her other cookie for Sadie:
She is so sweet, all the time. That is definitely her personality & I wish all of us could be as selfless as her! They had fun going through all of her Valentines.
The next morning, the girls woke up to a few surprises on Valentine's Day:
I had gotten them a small gift, Bryan got them balloons & they had cards from my parents. I went to school with Sadie that morning because her class got to go to the spring book fair:
She had gotten some money in the mail from her grandparents so she was excited to spend it at the book fair!
Sophie went to dance & spent the day with her Grammy while I went & had a Galentine's brunch with a few girlfriends from Mom Next. That afternoon, it was Sadie's Valentine party at school. They made cute love bug headbands, played musical hearts, ate heart donuts & played bingo:
They also had a photo booth set up where she had fun taking pictures with Kenzie:
At least she finally took a break from Kenzie to take a picture with me:
Siblings aren't allowed to come to parties so lucky Grammy was over so Sophie could spend the day with her. When I brought Sadie home, Grammy had a gift for them also:
That night, the girls had Valentine parties at church for GA's & Cubbies so Bryan & I got to go to dinner. I know Valentine's sometimes get a bad rap for being a commercialized holiday, but when you have 2 little girls, it's a fun day to celebrate with friends & family.
