My parents & Bryan's parents live about 3 hours from each other so half way through our trip, both of our moms drove & met each other to exchange the girls so the girls spent the last part of their trip in Conroe. Unfortunately they didn't get to spend any time with cousins on this trip but they still had a blast & kept just as busy. Their first morning they went to church & my parents had just gotten home from Hawaii & bought them some jewelry & a matching flower for their hair:
My mom had sent a text saying that Mimi's Beauty Shop was open before church because not only did she give them their new jewelry but she also braided their hair. And it looks like they found purses:
All ready for church!
They spent a lot of time at the house helping in the kitchen:
Sadie baked muffins, brownies & who knows what else because I can't remember. While Sophie helped make dinner one night:
It rained quite a bit so they were stuck in the house the first part of the trip but they were creative & built a fort:
Sadie even made a table out of that box so they could eat lunch in their tent.
They made necklaces:
And did some painting:
When the sun finally came out, they went to a water park:
They played putt putt at a new place in town:
And they went bowling:
But I think their favorite excursion might have been to Build A Bear at the mall:
While they were at the mall they rode the carousel:
Mimi took Sadie shopping & let her pick out a few things for kindergarten:
On their last day there, Mimi took them to get manicures & pedicures for vacation:
I am telling you, these girls were spoiled rotten while we were gone! They did more in 10 days than some get to do all summer. Thank you Mimi & Doc for watching them while we were gone!
