It was a busy weekend but full of fun activities. Guess it's that time of year!
Friday night, we had a babysitter for Sophie while Bryan & I took Sadie on a special date. First we took her to dinner then we went to Centennial High School to see their theater's performance of Annie. She loved it! Two of her friends went also so she got to sit with them in the second half. Afterwards, she got everyone's autographs & even got to meet Annie:
Saturday was the busiest of all. First, we went to breakfast with Santa & friends but I will do a separate blog about that. Too much fun to add to this post! That was followed up by 3 birthday parties. One of them was a friend from Sadie's class & they have a similar situation as ours. She turned 5 in December & her sister turned 7 so they had a combo birthday party for both of the girls. It was definitely a birthday party like we have never been to before - the Critter Man was there:
He brought with him all kinds of crazy reptiles like tarantulas, alligators, tortoises, etc. Lilah & Sophie (the birthday girls) got to be his helpers:

While we were there, Bryan took Sophie to KJ's party where we met up with them. Poor second children - he is kind of like Sophie where there were a few younger kids there but a lot of older siblings:
His party was dinosaur themed & Sophie absolutely loved his cupcakes:
Eventually we made it to dinner that night where we met up with some of Bryan's college friends. Joel came into town & the girls loved seeing him:
No wonder he is a pediatric dentist - he is great with kids!
Sunday night our church had a special Christmas children's worship & after they got to meet Santa again! We had so much fun I didn't take any pictures :( But we do get the photo from Santa emailed to us so hopefully that one turned out because they got to meet Mr. & Mrs. Clause!
