They opened a new Peter Piper Pizza pretty close to us & I've always wondered what it was until a friend told me it was basically the same thing as Chuck E Cheese. Perfect - my girls love places like that! I had been wanting to try it all summer, but was waiting for the big kids to go back to school & thank goodness we did, because we went yesterday & the place was empty. We met Jamie & our kids had a blast running all over the place. They have a big playground that is free & then a bunch of games that require tokens. I only had $2 cash so that's all the tokens we had, but the girls had fun anyway. They just enjoy the flashing lights & loud noises:
Jamie got some tokens too, so technically the kids got to ride a few extra because they rode together:
I'm not gonna lie, when we go to places like this & it's not crowded, we just let the kids run around & play while we visit. We heard something & when we turned around, Tatum had hit the jackpot - 1,000 tickets:
It took all 3 of them trying to load all of the tickets into the counting machine:
After an hour of running & playing (& no tokens left over) we finally hit up the buffet. The kids had to wait while Jamie & I took turns getting their food & they were so hyper, they were jumping & dancing in the corner booth:
Believe me, if there had been anyone else in the restaurant, or if Bryan was with us, this would not be happening, but at the moment, I didn't really care. They finally calmed down when the pizza was delivered:
It was fun for something new & nice to stay inside since it's still pretty hot outside. And they were so worn out, they crashed when they got home. Even better :)
