Can't believe it's Monday again. Our weekends are so busy & fun but then we wake up & it's Monday again :( Friday night Sadie had soccer practice & it is getting harder & harder to entertain this girl:
Doesn't matter what I bring her to play with, she still wants to run out on the field & play with the big girls. At least she sat still for a few seconds when she tried on her Dad's hat.
After practice, we went to dinner with another family & the kids were just a little excited:
It's one of those things where it's Friday night, it's a quick casual restaurant full of other families & kids, so we kind of let them get a little loud & play - probably more than normal. It was a noisy restaurant with TV's everywhere, so they weren't bothering anyone. And then I look up & see a family we know :( Of course that would happen. Oh-well, their kids are older & they said they remember those days.
On Saturday, we cheered for the longhorns at home again & this time Sadie we requested we make cupcakes for the game. Didn't take much to twist my arm - I try to be good all week so I can enjoy the weekend :) The girls are fascinated with the mixer:
How long do we have to wait for this thing?! The cupcakes were yummy by the way. Sadie is turning out to be a good baker :)
Finally, our church started a new series called "Party at Home". The auditorium was decorated like a birthday party & they gave every family balloons & toys to celebrate. The girls loved it:
And then I ended the weekend with a cupcake while watching the Emmy's. You know the only good thing about another week starting & weekend ending? Most of my fall tv shows premiere this week & I cannot wait! I am bored from tv this summer & I am ready to get caught up on some of my juicy shows!
