The Surrey House

Sadie got invited to The Surrey House on Saturday morning for a birthday tea party. It is a really neat historic house in downtown McKinney where they have a lot of weddings. As expected, it was raining again that morning, so we didn't spend much time outside in the gardens. I think they took one photo outside in the gazebo:

 

In case you can't figure it out from the picture above, it was a princess theme & Brynna asked that each girl wear one of their favorite princess dresses. Can you imagine that most of the girls there wore Elsa?! Including my daughter :) Cinderella was also there & they had story time with her:

 

 

Afterwards, they had their tea party. Brynna, the birthday girl got to sit with Cinderella:

 

 

It was so cute watching the girls eat their little sandwiches & fruit while they drank from their china:

 

 

It was actually pink lemonade & Sadie didn't like it. She asked me to pour it out & get her some water :) I thought it was so cute watching her delicately drink because she knew it was a fancy glass.

 

After their morning tea, the birthday girl got princess cupcakes:

 

 

Next they were surprised with face painting & balloon art:

 

 

Sadie had so much fun getting to see some of her friends & I was so glad we had something else planned to get us out of the house & out of the rain:
