I had so much luck at the Divine Consign last fall, that I decided to participate again this spring. This time it was the spring & summer sale, so I had all of the girls' clothes ready:
Everything was size 6-12 months. I had already gotten a rid of some of it to friends, but this it what I had left over. It was kind of sad selling it knowing that both of my girls wore it but we wouldn't be seeing it again :(
I was also happy to get rid of some of my baby gear:
I was super excited to get rid of the infant car seat & both of the bases. That was taking up a lot of space! The rest were miscellaneous things that we no longer use with Sophie. There are a few big things that I have held on to, like the pack-n-play. We don't really use it, but I figure we should keep one until Sophie is too big for it just in case. And now we have another baby in the family, so hopefully I will have it if Whitney ever comes to visit :)
I was a little nervous about the sale because it started on Friday, which is when we had our big snow storm. I finally ventured over there to drop off my stuff that afternoon while the girls were napping. Bryan was worried they would cancel the sale, but I had already invested a couple of hours getting everything ready & I was excited to get rid of everything! Luckily the show went on:
I took that picture after I dropped everything off. Can you believe it? That is only the clothing! There are separate rooms for everything else.
The weather definitely affected the storm & I didn't make as much as I was hoping for, but I sold all of my big stuff. I was really surprised that some of my clothes didn't sale, even after they discounted them. I think I had 60 items total & only 15 didn't sale, so I guess that's not too bad. I only made $230 though & I was hoping for $300. Oh well, I guess that's better than nothing. I am going to use that money to buy the girls' anything they need for spring/summer. Sophie probably has everything she needs, but I know for sure I need to buy Sadie some sandals. If this weather ever warms up - as I am writing, our next ice storm is blowing in.
