I have a core group of girlfriends from my college days & we still keep in touch. We try to get together a few times a year for dinner or a weekend away, but usually it is just us women. This time we decided to get together with our families so our husbands could visit & we could see all of our children. Thank goodness we invited the husbands because they had to help out with our kiddos:
Not all of our friends were there, but between the 4 of us, there were 10 children. I think the husbands might have been on full time daddy duty so us women could sit back & visit :) Although we did make them take pictures of us as we tried to corral the kids:

Guess some of the husbands were feeling a little left out so they decided to take pictures of their own :)
It was a quick evening but I am always amazed how strong our friendships have remained & how we pick up conversation so easily after not seeing each other for a while. It's hard to believe that we graduated college 13 years ago!
