Now that the holidays are over, the birthday parties have picked up again. I guess that's what happens when your children start accumulating more friends their own age because all of the birthday parties fall in a 6 month window around their birthdays.
Our friend Colt turned 3 on Saturday & he had a petting zoo at his house. Sophie was so excited & not scared at all:
I mostly kept her on the outside because I knew she would try to crawl everywhere inside the fence & probably crawl through stuff I didn't want her to. And she was very brave because she tried to touch everything that went by & if I let her loose inside the fence, she probably would have grabbed the animals by their fur or tail a little too hard.
Sadie talked about the animals all morning & as soon as we got there, she got scared. She would only go in with her dad & most of the time he was holding her:
Bryan even had to feed most of the animals because she wouldn't. Occasionally she would get down or pet something but it happened so quick, that I never got a picture of it. Sophie would have traded places with her in a heartbeat:
Once the girls got bored with the animals, we went to the garage to eat lunch:
Technically, the 3 of us ate lunch while I tried to entertain Sophie:
They pulled out all of his bikes, scooters, cars, etc. & she had fun trying to try them all out. She really liked his cozy coupe:
Which was kind of exciting because we have one at home so I guess we'll have to let her ride at home:
Thanks Colt for inviting us to your party! The girls had fun & we enjoyed seeing your parents :)
