I love going to the movies & I am always looking for ways to get out of the house, so we have been desperately waiting for the summer movie clubhouse to start & today was finally the day! We met our friends at the movie theater for the early kids show & today we saw Ice Age. Sadie loved it:
This was the best she has ever done at a movie. Probably because she is a little older. The only problem I have to encounter is the time. The movie starts at 9:30 & they get really crowded so you have to get there early, which means I had to go in & wake Sadie up about 8:50. You know this girl loves her sleep :) But it kind of worked out because I just got her dressed then we scooted out the door & she ate breakfast in the theater.
Sophie did better than I could have imagined:
She stayed in her car seat the entire time & never once fussed. I had her car seat in her stroller & we sat in the handicap section & I parked her stroller where she could see the screen. She looked like she was watching the movie but occasionally she would play with her toys & eventually she fell asleep & took a nap towards the end.

Unfortunately, they both left before the movie was over so we didn't get to visit with them too much, but their girls are younger than Sadie. We definitely enjoyed the movie & we will be going to several more movies this summer - I mean what else can you do for only $1?!
