I was doing laundry the other day while Sadie was at pre-school & Sophie was playing on her play mat. Normally she will lay down there & play for an hour or so because she is very independent right now & loves moving all around, looking at the bright colors & playing with her toys. Until I heard her crying & it didn't sound like normal - it was a muffled cry. Of course I run in there to check on her & I found this:
Why is this significant? Because I had laid her on her back :) A few weeks ago she started rolling from her tummy to her back, but I didn't know she could roll from her back to her stomach! Apparently, she can roll every way she wants too now, but in this case, I think it scared her & she didn't know how to get herself back over. Don't worry - I think she has figured it out by now & is a pro roller. In fact, I can't even keep her on her play mat anymore - this little adventurer has a lot of hard wood floor to check out!
By the way, in case you are wondering why I named this blog post Superman, it's because I do a stretch after I work out that is called the Superman that looks pretty similar to this :)
