10 Weeks

I can't believe Sophie Claire is 10 weeks old already! She is growing physically & developmentally every day. She has a great smile these days & she is very alert. If she is laying down on her play mat or in the nap nanny, she will always follow me with her eyes whenever I walk by. She has also gotten really strong head control & is really pulling up on her tummy to look around. I was just telling Bryan the other day that I may not have enjoyed the first couple of weeks of having a newborn, but these past couple of weeks have been pure excitement. I think we are definitely pass the hard stage & are cruising into the fun stage. In fact, she has even learned how to blow bubbles:

 

 

I don't think you can really tell from this picture, but we were at a restaurant the other night for at least an hour & she kept herself entertained the entire time by blowing bubbles & looking around. We also added a toy to her carseat & she has finally found it. She enjoys pulling/holding onto the bright, colored rings!

 

By the way, this picture cracks me up because it makes her look a lot bigger than she really is :) She is still a dainty little thing, but this angle makes her look like one of those chubby little babies!
