Separation Anxiety

I know what you must be thinking, that Sadie is already having separation anxiety from me since I am a stay at home Mom & with her most of the time. But I was really talking about Daisy. Every time I take Daisy outside to go to the bathroom, I yell through the house "Daisy - wanna go outside?" and before I know Daisy runs straight through the back door. Now when I yell it, another busy body comes crawling as fast as she can to the back door & this is what I see most of the time:

 

Sadie gets so excited watching Daisy outside. She pats the window & tries her best to pull up.And honestly, I think Daisy enjoys it too. She comes running back to the door after she finishes her business & stares or barks at Sadie:

 

 

The next part of our routine is giving Daisy her treat for going to the bathroom outside. In our household, Daisy's treat is an animal cracker. We used to give it to Sadie to give to Daisy & she would just drop it on the floor. Now Sadie tries to put it in her mouth & eat it for herself! Needless to say I won't let her have the whole thing yet because I am afraid she will choke on it, but pretty soon I know I will be giving one to Daisy & one to Sadie!

 

 

I will admit that as much as I love seeing this occur on a daily basis, I will enjoy it more when Sadie can take Daisy out herself & I won't have to worry about it anymore!
