The Dodson Family Farm

Last Saturday, we took Sadie to visit the Dodson Family Farm. Bryan's Nanny & her family have a farm house outside of Paris. I can honestly say that I have known Bryan for over 9 years & this was the first time I have ever been to the farm! I have heard about it often, so I was excited to go. All of his family was there because there was a surprise party for someone Saturday night. We had a great time visiting with everyone, but I realized later that I didn't get many pictures. I did get a few, mostly of Sadie, but I didn't get any of the farm, the farmhouse, the pond, etc. It was so hot that we didn't spend much time outside. In fact, Saturday was the hottest day on record for that day - it was 107! Needless to say we did not get to ride the 4 wheelers - we'll have to go back in the fall & try again! Sadie loved seeing everyone & getting every one's attention:

She had a cute onesie on that Bryan bought her before she was born that read "I'm Cute, Mommy's Hot & Daddy's Lucky!"

Finally, Nanny kept her entertained at the birthday party. Nothing like a bright colored balloon to keep this little one happy!

All in all we had a great time & I am proud to say that both Sadie & I have finally been to the farm!
