Bath Time

In case I haven't mentioned it before, Sadie loves her baths! For the first month, we bathed her in an infant tub downstairs in the kitchen. It was a pretty neat little bathtub perfect for newborn infants given to us from the hospital. But after a month we quickly realized that she was out growing that little tub so we moved her upstairs to her big girl tub. This one actually sits in the bathtub & you can fill the whole tub up with water. Let's just say bath time has gone to a whole new level - she absolutely loves it! It may be one of her favorite things to do. In fact, I don't think she has cried once since we moved her up there. Granted, that is not always the case for when we get her out of the tub - that's a whole other story. She has gotten better, but she used to scream & cry when we took her out of the tub & put her on her changing pad. We don't actually have a changing table, we have a dresser & we removed one of the shelves so we can use it as a changing station. I finally wised up & figured out that maybe if I decorate the bottom of the shelf above her, she will be have something to look at. So I found some 3D stickers in the shapes of flowers & butterflies that are sparkly as well & thank goodness that did the trick! We can usually point out the stickers & she will be mesmerized for a while :)

 I can't imagine how much fun bath time will be when she can actually sit up & play with all of the cute toys she already has waiting for her!
