Bryan went in for his 8th treatment yesterday, which means he has successfully completed 4 cycles of chemo. And we know it is working because we have the results to show for it from his PET Scan!! He did much better yesterday - especially compared to last time. When we got to his appointment, a little bird left a present for us & we found it hanging on his IV pole:
Apparently one of his chemo nurses, Fran, picked this up for our little girl. She is the one I posted pictures of last week. What a way to start the day, huh? Then we had a visitor come & stay most of the day with us:
Robert, Bryan's Dad came & I think Bryan enjoyed having the company. And as usual, our friend Josh came by & brought us lunch - well, brought Robert & I lunch. Bryan never eats during chemo anymore.
Bryan is feeling tons better today. I have been surprised how well he is doing this time, although, sometimes it hits him harder a few days later. So we have a low key weekend planned - lot of resting for Bryan & maybe a few movies. I take that back, the Dallas Cowboys have a pre-season game tonight, so I have a feeling we may be watching our first football game of the season :)
