Happy Memorial Day!

For those who know Bryan well, he is very patriotic, so I tried to change my blog layout for Memorial Day & the upcoming July 4th holidays. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but sometimes I feel like I don't have much to post about - Bryan & I are kind of boring these days :) He did have his third treatment last week and it hit him much harder this time. He got pretty wiped out at chemo & slept most of the afternoon while he was getting treatment. And he didn't really leave the house Wednesday - Saturday, except to go to the doctor's office. However, we were fortunate to have a lot of visitors this weekend! My sister & her son (Natalie & Kason) came to visit and since they were here, my parents (David & Tammy) decided to come as well. Although I don't know if they really came to see us or to see Kason :)

Kason loves his lymphoma bracelet! He wears it proudly & likes to show everyone! On Saturday night, some of our friends came over & treated us to dinner. They grilled out steaks & it was delicious! Bryan even ate pretty good (even though it might not have tasted that good since nothing tastes good to him any more.....).

These are our neighbors, Alexa & Nicole, and our good friend Jenny & her daughter Ryleigh all proudly displaying their bracelets too!

And here are the rest of the Clark family - Daniela & Jonathan. Apparently my parent's dog, Lexie, decided to jump in on the photo also!

This is our Master Chef, Joel, who came all the way from Odessa to see us!

Natalie & Kason had to go back to Lubbock, so they missed the cookout, but my parents got to stay around. Thank goodness because they did all the cleaning! Thanks Mom!

And here are the guys - some of Bryan's closest friends - Joel, Jonathan & Josh.

As I have stated multiple times in past blogs, cards, e-mails, etc. we are blessed to be surrounded by such a great support system of family & friends. I truly believe that makes a huge difference in Bryan's battle & we are thankful to every one of you for your thoughts & prayers! I hope you all have enjoyed the holiday weekend with your family & friends as well!
